Reference in animal bone degreasing

Numerous animal exhibits are kept in the Natural History Museum in Bern. But the display pieces are sensitive: the fat contained in the animal bones contributes to them turning yellow or the bones disintegrating completely. Only degreasing helps to make the exhibits long-lasting. The taxidermists have explored various solutions and have found what they are looking for in the industry: Why not use for degreasing those cleaning plants in which metal and plastic parts are normally cleaned, degreased and dried almost residue-free?

Parts cleaning specialist Hemo provided such a system. The taxidermists in Bern use modified SOLVACS cleaning systems that normally remove contamination from grease from metal and plastic parts. Hemo is thus setting new standards for the longevity of natural history taxidermy.
