Abstract

With a new, automated technology based on X-ray fluorescence, precise monitoring of the metal concentrations of up to four electroplating baths is possible automatically and continuously.

Electroplating baths are subject to process-related fluctuations that have a considerable influence on the deposition behavior and the resulting coating thickness. With a new, automated technology based on X-ray fluorescence, precise monitoring of the metal concentrations of up to four electroplating baths is possible automatically and continuously.
