Atotech: More sustainable and better

Abstract

Nearly 80 participants came to the Corrosion Protection Summit in Frankfurt. Here there was news about coating systems, testing standards and exciting guest lectures directly from the industry, from the screw manufacturer Nedschroef to Porsche.

Experts from the industry met in Frankfurt in April for the Corrosion Protection Summit organized by specialty chemicals and surface treatment specialist Atotech. The presentations focused on current issues in corrosion protection. The focus was on topics of efficiency and sustainability, but also on specific issues ranging from membrane anodes to PFAS. The topic of the opening lecture by Dr. Matthias Hoch, was the CO2 footprint of screw manufacturing. He covered a wide range of topics from steel production to screw manufacturing and coating.
