Harter: Little energy, much profit

In the drying building block, there is a lot of potential to save valuable resources - in the form of electricity or gas, of time and cycle, of scrap and rework, of heat and exhaust air. The list goes on. A look at an alternative drying process that has been deemed an eligible technology by the government.

Harter, a drying plant manufacturer, has developed condensation drying based on heat pumps more than 30 years ago. This type of drying has a physically alternative approach, because it dehumidifies with extremely dry and unsaturated air. Products are dried quickly, safely and also in an energy-saving manner in the air-closed system. Drying takes place in a variable temperature range from 20 to 90 degrees Celsius. The process can be used flexibly - for batch operation or continuous applications. In addition to batch dryers such as rack dryers, Harter also implements the drying of bulk materials directly in the container. A few practical examples illustrate this.
