acp systems: Snow blasting to the beat

Abstract

New snow jet nozzle technology expands the range of applications through more abrasiveness and saves CO2

For some time now, the trend in industrial parts cleaning has been towards processes that can reliably remove particulate and filmic contamination in a dry manner and, if necessary, selectively. Another aspect that is becoming increasingly important is the simple and space-saving integration of the cleaning process into existing production lines. A new clocking two-substance ring nozzle for CO2 snow jet cleaning offers increased abrasiveness thanks to more kinetic energy. At the same time, carbon dioxide and compressed air consumption can be reduced by up to 15 percent with the wear-free nozzle.
