For the TOP 100 award, the innovative strength of the participating companies is assessed by innovation researchers from the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration on the basis of more than 100 criteria from five categories. These include the topics of innovation-promoting top management, innovation climate, innovative processes and organization, external orientation/open innovation and innovation success. Plasmatreat was able to convince the jury.
Plasma in semiconductor and power module production
"Our employees are continuously committed to pushing the boundaries of plasma technology and opening up new applications," says Plasmatreat CEO Christian Buske. "For example, we introduced a special plasma treatment unit for the electronics industry at the end of last year: Inline in the production process, we enable the removal of the oxide layer on metal surfaces without the use of wet chemicals that are harmful to the environment and health."
Celebrations at the German SME Summit
The TOP Innovators will be honored on June 28 at the German SME Summit in Weimar. "We want to use this opportunity to talk to other TOP innovators from SMEs and perhaps even initiate one or two joint projects," says Christian Buske.
