Cleanstab AS is a sump stabilizer with a pH value of 13.5 (at 20°C). As a stabilizer for modified alcohols, it reduces the acidity of the solvent and simultaneously raises the pH value. This is because if the solvent bath is too acidic, there is a risk of corrosion for the cleaned parts and the system itself. A stable solvent bath not only offers greater safety and quality during cleaning, but also increases the service life of the solvent.
In addition to the stabilizer, the Geiss Quick-Test test kit for modified alcohols, such as RG Cleaner 63 and RG Isoclean 59, is used for solvent monitoring. The Quick-Test determines the acidity or alkalinity, the pH value and the chloride content in the solvent bath.
