New addition to the Denios management team

Dr. Alexander Meckelnborg, an experienced expert is strengthening the management team as the new Chief Technology Officer (CTO). The Board of Directors has appointed him with effect from June 1, 2024.

Dr. Alexander Meckelnborg studied mechanical engineering and economics at RWTH Aachen University, Ecole Centrale Paris and UC Berkeley. He then completed his doctorate in production management at the WZL at RWTH Aachen University.

Extensive management experience

At Siemens Mobility, he was Head of Quality Management and the area of "Digitalization in Global Development for Rail Vehicles". This was followed by the management of international development. Most recently, he was Managing Director at Stephan Machinery in Hamelin, a machine and plant manufacturer for the food industry.

Head of three divisions

In his new role at Denios, Dr. Meckelnborg will manage the Innovation, Engineering and International Technical Operations divisions, which currently have six production sites. He will also be responsible for the production companies in France, the Czech Republic and the USA.

In addition to Dr. Alexander Meckelnborg, Helmut Dennig (CEO), Ricarda Fleer (CFO) and Horst Rose (CSO) complete the management quartet.
