Low-cost positioning lasers from Laser Components

Laser Components is expanding its low-cost range to include compact green positioning lasers. This includes the LC-LMD-515-07-01-TM-01, the smallest green dot laser module in the company's range to date. Its housing is just 7.8 mm long and has a diameter of only 3.3 mm. With a laser output of 1 mW, it was developed for electronic designs in which components are very tightly packed, but the application still requires precise positioning. Two cost-effective models with a small form factor are also being added to the line laser range: with a diameter of 9 mm, the housing of the LC-LML-515-09-03-60-TM-C laser module has a length of 11.5 mm. With a laser power of 3 mW and an aperture angle of 60°, its laser line is still suitable for exact positioning of workpieces even over longer distances.
