The ProTrode pH sensors are available in four versions to meet different market requirements. ProTrode 200 and 300 cover a pH range from 0 - 12. They are mostly used in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries. ProTrode 250 and 350 cover a pH range of 0 - 14 and are suitable for the chemical industry.
A diaphragm is an important component of a pH sensor as it ensures a stable electrolyte supply around the sensor. The ProTrode 200 and 250 are equipped with ground-joint diaphragms so that stable results are always obtained. The ProTrode 250, 300 and 350 are pressurized, so they are guaranteed to withstand process conditions up to 4 bar. The ProTrode 200 and 300 feature a silver ion barrier to prevent silver ions from contaminating the process sample and thus disrupting the process.
