"Corona has hit us, but in 2021 we have resisted the crisis with an outstanding team performance," says Björn Kemper, CEO of Kemper GmbH. If a special effect had not had a positive impact in the record year 2019, 2021 would even have gone down as the most successful year in the company's history. At the time, Great Britain had classified the welding of structural steel as carcinogenic. The new regulation triggered a run on extraction and filter systems from Kemper. In 2021, the extraction technology specialist now made significant gains again in all areas compared to the first corona year 2020.
The main drawcards were the newly launched extraction systems for high and low vacuum extraction. With the VacuFil series, KEMPER served the trend toward burner-integrated extraction. But mobile extraction units such as SmartFil also convinced the metalworking industry - a successful tour de force despite the difficult component procurement. Another indication of the successful year was that Kemper was the only air pollution control technology company to receive an award as "World Market Leader - Future Champion 2022" from WirtschaftsWoche. This is based on the World Market Leader Index of the University of St. Gallen and the Academy of German World Market Leaders.
