Dr. Christian Battenberg joins the Bodo Möller Chemie Group

Bodo Möller Chemie welcomes Dr. Battenberg as the new Executive Assistant and Global Vice President Plastics. He will drive forward the strategic development of the company.

Dr. Christian Battenberg has many years of international experience in research, development and global business development. After studying chemistry with a focus on polymer chemistry at the University of Darmstadt, he completed his doctorate there in collaboration with the Fraunhofer Institute for Structural Durability and System Reliability LBF and Airbus. In the eight years that followed at Clariant, he held various global management roles, including Global Market Segment Manager for Thermosets and Global Business Development Manager for Polymer Solutions.

Strategically developing the product portfolio

Dr. Battenberg will use his expertise to drive forward the strategic development of Bodo Möller Chemie's product portfolio. In particular, the focus will be on adapting to future market requirements, developing new suppliers and expanding partnerships. He will also contribute to strengthening the company's competitiveness and making optimum use of internal synergies.
