Denios SE from Bad Oeynhausen, a provider in the hazardous materials storage and occupational safety sectors, has received the EcoVadis sustainability sealfor the tenth time in a row.EcoVadis uses questionnaires to scrutinize companies annually on various criteria such as environmental protection, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. The hazardous substances experts from Bad Oeynhausen were also assessed - and awarded silver. This puts Denios in the top 25 percent of all qualified companies.
The seal is also an important indicator for the company's customers: with EcoVadis, Denios proves that it is well positioned in terms of environmental protection and, above all, in the storage and handling of hazardous substances. The measures that the company has implemented include a large photovoltaic system on the company roof, energy-efficient LED lighting and a combined heat and power plant.
