At the JEC World trade fair, Bodo Möller Chemie will be focusing on dianhydride-based hardener technology for high-performance epoxy resins. The manufacturer will also be showcasing product solutions for debonding on demand.

JEC World, atrade fair for composite materials and their applications, will take place in Paris from March 5 to 7, 2024. E-mobility is an important field of application. In this area, Bodo Möller Chemies focuses primarily on adhesives and casting compounds for electric motors, high- and low-voltage batteries and sensors for the charging infrastructure. Thermally and electrically conductive adhesives as well as insulating, damping and lightweight materials and structural adhesives are also used in e-mobility.

Debonding on demand

The simple and clean disassembly of bonded structures is becoming increasingly important for the industry, especially with regard to sustainability and a holistic circular economy. To this end, Bodo Möller Chemie will be presenting innovations on the topic of debonding on demand at its stand: with the help of a primer, which can be thermally activated if required, the adhesive bond is loosened and non-destructive dismantling is made possible. The primer is compatible with a wide range of adhesives and also enables structural bonding of complex components for challenging applications.
