SurTec International GmbH of Bensheim, Germany, has acquired omniTechnik Mikroverkapselungs GmbH. Part of the takeover agreement is also the acquisition of all shares in the joint venture Precote and Romeo, USA, by the SurTec subsidiary SurTec Inc. The takeover agreement creates the conditions for integrating both companies into the SurTec Group in the long term.
The family-owned company omniTechnik Mikroverkapselungs GmbH specializes in reactive and non-reactive coatings for fasteners. With its precote product range, the company serves a wide variety of thread coating applications worldwide, for example in the automotive industry, mechanical engineering, the aviation industry, household appliances and other industries. The acquisition of omniTechnik and precote creates the conditions for the strategic further development of both companies.
