From 8 to 10 October 2024, international trade visitors will be able to find out about solutions and technologies for aluminum at the Aluminium trade fair in Düsseldorf. The focus in Hall 3, where the VOA will also have its stand, will be on surface treatment. The Surface Pavilion will showcase the variety of surface processes and their design-oriented applications - from anodizing and coating to chemical treatment options and paint stripping through to quality management with the international quality marks QUALANOD, QUALICOAT and QUALISTRIP.
Appreciation of the surface finishing industry
The VOA team is looking forward to welcoming visitors to stand 3F70-10. The VOA will be presenting parts of its "stories of surfaces" collection at the stand. The collection exemplifies the diverse design possibilities of aluminum surfaces. Opposite the VOA stand, the Surface & Design Lounge invites visitors to exchange ideas. The presentation of the diversity and range of surface finishing means a lot to the association. This puts the surface finishing industry in the focus of a broad audience.
VOA presentation on "Sustainability & Circularity"
The VOA is also involved in the Aluminum Conference, which addresses topics such as sustainability, the energy crisis, the transformation of the industry and the green future with expert presentations and discussion panels. On 9 October 2024, VOA Managing Director Dr. Alexa A. Becker will represent the surface finishing industry as part of the panel discussion on "Sustainability & Circularity" from 10:00 to 12:30.
