Vermes Microdispensing has acquired Lerner Systems' product lines, including electro-pneumatic and piezo jet micro-dispensing valves, control units and process equipment. "We will add the dispensing systems developed and marketed by Lerner Systems to our portfolio of jetting systems," said Juergen Städtler, managing director of Vermes Microdispensing. The Lerner Systems team will join Vermes Microdispensing, expanding the company's dispensing expertise.
The product lines are a strategic addition to the Vermes portfolio. The Lerner team brings decades of experience in designing and manufacturing microdispensing solutions for a range of jet valves. The integration makes Lerner Systems a new product line within Vermes. The portfolio includes electro-pneumatic as well as piezo-based valves and their control units. The systems are suitable for metering low- to high-viscosity fluids. The non-contact jet valves offer manufacturers a quick and easy way to create accurate, repeatable micro-applications for demanding dispensing processes.
