UV protection primer for light textiles from Rowa

Textile constructions have been part of modern architecture for many years. However, they must be protected against environmental influences. Rowa Lack offers a broad portfolio of coating systems for this purpose

With the Rowaflon product group, Rowa Lack offers a range of high-quality fluoropolymer coating systems for membranes and fabrics used in the fields of textile architecture, roofing, sun protection, and halls and tents. Rowaflon UV protection primers prevent UV radiation from damaging the coating of textile materials used outdoors. However, very light shades are preferred in textile architecture. For these, the classic Rowaflon UV protection primers are only suitable to a limited extent. This is because, despite their quite high transparency in the visible wavelength range, they leave a whitish haze on the substrate that is clearly perceptible under the influence of UV.

Rowa has therefore developed other, particularly transparent UV protection primers. Rowaflon G-75308, for example, contains an optimized UV protection system and thus allows the coating of colored substrates without strongly affecting the color impression. Rowaflon G-75308 is available for sampling with immediate effect. To comply with REACH restrictions on solvents such as DMF and NMP, the new Rowaflon UV protection primers, like the Rowaflon topcoats and UV protection primers, are available in variants that do not contain substances on the restricted list.
