The plant manufacturer Höckh Metall-Reinigungsanlagen GmbH in Neuenbürg, Germany, relies on wire mesh boxes because large containers such as the Euro wire mesh box are widely used in the metalworking industry for storing and transporting components. And to avoid additional handling costs for rearranging components, Höckh leaves the goods in the wire mesh boxes for parts cleaning. In this way, the company feeds the original grid box as a cleaning container directly to the large-scale cleaning system. The principle works just as well with aqueous spray cleaning systems as with solvent systems. The aim of the former is to subject the components to rapid intermediate cleaning before shipment. The latter is suitable for degreasing large-format components such as deep-drawn sheet metal parts.
