Teledyne Flir has expanded its acoustic imaging product line with two new models of the Flir Si124 industrial acoustic camera: the Si124-LD is specifically designed to detect compressed air leaks, and the Si124-PD is designed to detect partial discharges in high-voltage electrical systems. The devices feature onboard analysis capabilities with access to an online portal via the Flir Acoustic Camera Viewer cloud service. This software allows for quick diagnostics and more in-depth analysis.
The Si124-PD provides automatic electrical fault classification for partial discharge problems, including surface discharge, discharge, floating discharge and discharges to air. The Si124-LD features real-time, in-device leak size and cost analysis that allows the user to instantly view the compressed air leak rate on the screen and quantify the leak size. Both devices, as well as the original Si124 industrial acoustic camera, are available worldwide from Teledyne FLIR and its authorized distributors.
