Subsidiary Established in South Korea

Evatec AG, based in Trübbach, Switzerland, has established its own sales and service subsidiary in South Korea. Hyeyoung Yoon, who has more than 30 years of experience in the semiconductor equipment and materials industry, will serve as managing director.

With the establishment of Evatec Korea, the equipment manufacturer aims to expand its presence in the South Korean semiconductor market. This market primarily encompasses memory manufacturing, foundry services, and OSAT (Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Test). The new subsidiary is intended to enable more direct customer support as well as shorter communication and response channels.

Hyeyoung Yoon will head the new company. She has over 20 years of experience in sales of equipment to South Korean customers.
