The Plastics Center SKZ and the Lenzing Education Center (BZL) have entered into a distribution partnership for Austria. Since November 2025, both institutions have been working together to provide continuing education courses in the field of plastics technology on the Austrian market.
As part of the cooperation, the Lenzing Education Center is responsible for the distribution of selected SKZ training courses. These include qualification courses in the fields of extrusion technology and injection molding. The training courses can be held as face-to-face events in Germany, as on-site training courses in Austria, or as live online formats from the SKZ's online studio. The range of courses is supplemented by web-based training courses.
Supplementing existing educational offerings
The partnership expands the Lenzing Education Center's portfolio, which includes training and continuing education in metal technology, chemical engineering, electrical engineering, and human resources development. At the same time, SKZ is strengthening its presence in the Austrian plastics market, where it offers training courses as well as research and development services.
According to both partners, the collaboration is intended to facilitate access to qualified continuing education programs and enable stronger networking with the local plastics industry.
International orientation of SKZ
The SKZ has been active internationally for several years and sees itself as a source of knowledge and technology along the entire plastics processing value chain – from production to management. With the cooperation in Austria, the institute is continuing its international orientation.
