Following intensive discussions with designers and trend researchers, the creative team at the AkzoNobel Global Aesthetic Center has translated this longing into ColourFutures 2025. At the heart of ColourFutures 2025 is True Joy, the color of the year 2025. The sunny yellow radiates energy and warmth and brings a smile to any room.
Trend colors in three areas
ColourFutures2025 comprises 28 invigorating, powerful and earthy shades that encourage experimentation in color design to create spaces that are tailored to each customer's individual lifestyle. The ColourFutures are divided into the Bold Colours, Human Colours and Proud Colours ranges.
Bold and bright
The bold, bright colors of the Bold Colours radiate spontaneity and energy, while the light neutrals form a suitable background for clear color accents. With shades reminiscent of materials such as metal, wood and clay, the Human Colours pay homage to craftsmanship and its traditions. And the intense tones of the Proud Colours palette are inspired by the richness of color in our world - for example, the ochre rocks of Provence or the dark blue of the deep sea.
