SIC Marking takes over Nill + Ritz

SIC Marking Group has taken over Nill + Ritz CNC-Technik GmbH as of Jan. 1, 2023, and is expanding its range of marking systems for demanding industrial applications.

The German SIC Marking GmbH strengthens its presence in the south of Germany with the acquisition of Nill + Ritz. The portfolios of both companies complement each other and now include solutions ranging from simple manual signatures to automatic marking with needle and laser marking systems and customized marking stations. SIC Marking Group, headquartered near Lyon, serves the automotive, aerospace, mechanical engineering and energy markets with its products. The entire group employs around 450 people

Founded in 1993 in Markgröningen near Stuttgart, Nill +Ritz CNC-Technik GmbH has around 25 employees who design customer-specific marking stations and supply them to well-known customers in industry. Michael Endemann, Managing Director of SIC Marking GmbH in Remscheid and new Managing Director of Nill + Ritz: "With the acquisition of Nill + Ritz, we are expanding our product range to include sophisticated customized marking solutions based on needle, scribe and laser technologies." In many N+R systems, components are automatically fed and positioned, and immediate inline evaluation of the marking process, e.g. by image processing, can also be integrated.
