Founded in 1948 by Ewald Rostek as a family business, the company was sold to a Luxembourg holding company in 2017. Since then, a strategic reorientation has taken place in conjunction with constant investments, which are being continued despite the current difficult economic conditions. Today, a team of sixty surface specialists produces technical and decorative surfaces on nine master computer-controlled electroplating lines for customers from the automotive and electrical industries, heating and sanitary engineering, food and medical technology, among others, as well as from the furniture industry, coin production and defense technology.
A large-scale plant for industrial parts cleaning is currently under construction, which will be able to clean both individual components and bulk materials in grid box dimensions from November 2023. At the same time, a new drying and after-treatment system is being installed which will become part of a completely overhauled production line with which up to 6,000 tons of furniture fittings per year can be finished efficiently and in a resource-saving manner. Further investments are planned in the area of environmental technology.
