Sealed containers cannot be emptied using conventional drum or container pumps, as there are no openings for inserting a drum pump. They must be emptied through the immersion pipe using self-priming pumps. Flux has developed the Safetec pump set for this purpose.
Integrated volume measurement
Thanks to integrated volume measurement, the Safetec pump set is suitable for filling containers or for batch dosing. It offers convenient operation via a graphic touch panel, which can also be operated with chemical gloves. An integrated sensor detects and signals when the container is empty and switches off the pump. Additional safety is provided by a hermetically sealed self-priming magnetic centrifugal pump and an additional leakage tray. This can be supplied with a leakage sensor.
Simple operation
The pump is easy to operate: First, the container is connected to a hose using a coupling and connected to the pump set. The pump set, in turn, is connected to the system or extraction point via another hose. It empties the container, signals automatically when it is empty and switches itself off.
