parts2clean in Stuttgart, the most important international platform for industrial parts and surface cleaning, finally opened its doors again from October 5 to 7 for around 130 exhibitors from ten countries. Despite the pandemic-related imponderables, the organizer succeeded in organizing a well-attended trade fair with a very lively and positive basic mood with all leading market participants.
Once again this year, parts2clean offered numerous new and further developments. Among the trade show premieres were plant, process and process technology, cleanrooms and clean rooms, cleaning media and containers, workpiece carriers and washing baskets, degreasing and cleaning solutions, ultrasonic equipment for cleaning, through to bath care, cleanliness control, and corrosion protection and packaging.
In addition to the exhibitor presentations, the parts2clean forum offered a rich knowledge platform with more than 50 lectures on all three days of the trade fair on all topics related to parts and surface cleaning, including technical cleanliness, which has been established as a clear quality characteristic for many years, automated quality monitoring, as well as digital process control methods, artificial intelligence and machine learning. Time and again, it also became clear in the presentations that the ever-increasing demands on the cleanliness of surfaces and components require not only highly efficient cleaning technologies, but also the seamless integration of these processes and the associated peripherals into the entire production chain.
The industry finally came together again in real life at this so important trade show and certainly benefited from it in a very sustainable way - let's hope that this positive sign points the way further back to constructive, successful times.
