At productronica 2025 in Munich, Peters presented solutions for PCB production and for the protection of populated assemblies at two trade fair stands. The focus was on technical discussions with PCB manufacturers and representatives from EMS and OEM companies.
Edge covering is gaining in importance
A key topic was the new SEP Sharp Edge Protection product line. This involved solutions for improved edge coverage of assemblies. According to Peters, this topic is becoming increasingly relevant, particularly with regard to high-voltage applications, as there are increased requirements for electrical safety and material resistance. Heat sink pastes were also presented, which can be applied during the PCB process and contribute to improved heat dissipation.
