Gema Switzerland presents the new ZA17 vertical module as an extension of its axis system. In combination with the fixed ZS05 axis, the UA05 and UA05-x gun axes can be positioned precisely on the coating object.
Up to six ZA17 modules can be mounted on a ZS05 axis, with each module operating independently. The modules move to defined fixed positions or oscillate over surfaces. This enables uniform coating even with complex part geometries or sloping product carriers.
High variability and integrated cleaning
Two UA05 or one UA05-x gun axes can be mounted per ZA17 module – a total of up to eight UA05 axes per ZS05 system. A vertical gun distance of 110 to 300 mm reduces dead zones and improves coating in recessed areas.
Integrated blow-off functions on the axes ensure automatic gun cleaning. Control is via MagicControl 4.0, and integration into existing systems is possible via bus or CAN bus technology – including performance feedback and monitoring.
