Plating Electronic, a provider of direct current and pulse current solutions, completed its generational leadership transition in 2026. The company is now headed by Sebastian, Matthias and Marius Rieder. Founded in 1987 and based in Sexau, the company develops systems for industrial electrochemical processes, including electroplating, anodizing, printed circuit board manufacturing, water treatment, as well as electrolysis and power-to-X applications.
Leadership Transition in Surface Technology
With the handover to the second generation, the company is combining continuity in quality and service with organizational adjustments. The aim is to create clearer structures in workflows and increase transparency and responsiveness in projects. Its system responsibility continues to extend from design and engineering calculations to integration, commissioning and lifecycle support.
Continuity in Development and Production
Key fundamentals remain unchanged: development and manufacturing will continue to take place in Germany. This is complemented by international support through subsidiaries, partners and distributors in Europe, North America and Asia. The company is also active in industry associations such as ZVO, DGO and VOA.
Updated Brand Presence and Website
At the same time as the leadership transition, the company has refreshed its brand presence. A more consistent visual identity and harmonized communications materials are intended to convey the company’s positioning more clearly. A new website has been announced and is expected to make project work easier.
