Plasmatreat is strengthening the sales team of its Spanish subsidiary Plasmatreat Iberia S.L. with two new employees. This will provide even closer support for interested parties and customers in the field of plasma pretreatment systems.

The Plasmatreat Iberia team, which is responsible for the Spanish and Portuguese markets, has welcomed two new employees in recent months. "Raquel Rosique Cáceres has been supporting the entire team in the administrative area and in internal sales since fall 2023. Marc Costa Camprubí is our newest team member and will support customers in the Catalonia region as Sales Manager and will also be involved in application technology and customer lab trials," says Desiderio Diaz Garcia, General Manager at Plasmatreat Iberia, a subsidiary of Plasmatreat GmbH, Germany. The target markets for Plasmatreat in Spain are automotive, including e-mobility, packaging, electronics and household appliances.

Third new team member

Mercedes Tur Escriva moved back to Spain from Plasmatreat North America last year. The new addition to the team means that the regions of the Iberian Peninsula can now be redistributed. Tur Escriva has more than two decades of experience in the field of surface treatment technologies. In her new position, she will focus on market development, events and trade fairs and has taken over the eastern region of Spain on the sales side. Desiderio Diaz Garcia, who has been in charge of the Spanish branch since mid-2020, covers most of Spain and Portugal from Madrid.

Plasmatreat for pre-treatment

All team members have extensive knowledge of the industry and have also focused in the past on surface technology or the focus industries in which Plasmatreat systems are used for pre-treatment. In cooperation with the headquarters and other subsidiaries, Plasmatreat Iberia aims to acquire new customers, but also to drive forward project business in the automotive sector. The use of plasma technology for the surface treatment of all materials prior to further processing plays an important role there.

Service technicians wanted

In order to be better equipped for service issues and commissioning, Plasmatreat is looking for an additional service technician.
