At around EUR 75 million, annual sales are expected to be almost 8% higher than in the previous record year of 2023 - with a correspondingly good result. The number of employees increased by 3% to around 370 in 2024.
Heidinger, Managing Director Technology, reported in detail on the year with the start of construction of two large new production halls since March 2024, the restructuring of the welding shop and the finishing area, five quality management and supplier audits and the delivery of numerous special systems and project components. However, Heidinger warned: "Times are getting more difficult. The fourth quarter of 2024 is already characterized by a significant decline in orders and increasing cost pressure."
Commercial Managing Director Wolf explained that the decline in orders goes hand in hand with the postponement of current orders. "Our currently most important sales market, the semiconductor industry, is also weakening," said Wolf. However, the two Managing Directors expect a recovery by the end of 2025.
This was followed by awards for long service to the company. Dr. Florian Fellenberger, Luis Geis, Michael Richl, Sascha André Schröder and Christian Seitz have been with the company for ten years; Frank Bleifuß and Valentin Zillinski are celebrating their 25th anniversary; Michael Penning was honored for 30 years of service.
