Chemical engineers Detlev Schucht and Jörg Leistikow have been with Lackwerke Peters GmbH & Co. KG for 30 years. Johannes Tekath can look back on 35 years at Peters.
Liquid resist as standard
Detlev Schucht heads the research and development laboratory together with Johannes Tekath. Schucht came to Peters through a vacation job as a chemical laboratory technician. He was the first employee to write his thesis with the support of his employer. With his scientific paper on circuit printing, he opened the door for the complex topic of liquid resist, which at the time became the standard as an alternative to "dry film resist".
New standard introduced
Jörg Leistikow has also been employed at Peters for three decades. As the person responsible for quality management, he initiated certification in accordance with DIN ISO 9001. At the time, this was a completely new standard, which was painstakingly equipped with structures and content from practical experience in cooperation with other companies at the Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
Specialized in special technologies
Johannes Tekath has been working for Peters for 25 years. The R&D manager initially specialized in special technologies such as carbon conductive coatings and heat-sink pastes. He is responsible for the development of high-tech coating materials. As Innovation Manager, he was also heavily involved in research activities in the 3D/inkjet laboratory for new products. Today, his R&D focus is on protective coatings and potting compounds for printed circuit boards.
