Parts Finishing was scheduled to take place in Karlsruhe in November 2025. In June, the organizer, fairXperts GmbH & Co. KG, reported a satisfactory level of registrations. According to the IFO business climate index, the mood in companies had even improved slightly. However, in view of the economic uncertainties, companies' uncertainty is reflected in reluctant investments and declining participation in trade fairs.
Positive response to trade fair concept
Parts Finishing 2025 was to present three topics under one roof over two days. "We actually received a very positive response to this idea right from the start and had a promising number of registrations up until around six weeks ago," says fairXperts Managing Director Nicolas Herdin. "However, various companies have since canceled their registrations." The reasons for this vary. Saving constraints were cited, as were the uncertain economic situation or difficulties in assessing the company's business development.
Cancellations are a better alternative
This has now prompted the organizer to cancel the event planned for 12 and 13 November 2025 at the Karlsruhe exhibition grounds. "Despite financial losses, this is a better alternative for us than holding an event where exhibitors and visitors are dissatisfied in the end," adds Herdin. The company management will now discuss the further development of Parts Finishing with the exhibitor advisory board and discuss a new date.
