Precise processing of sensitive titanium surfaces
The process is based on an injector blasting cabin in combination with a specially developed blasting medium. Precisely dosed injection allows titanium surfaces to be processed according to specified drawing parameters without thermally or mechanically altering the base material. This makes the process particularly suitable for components with tight tolerances and sensitive functional surfaces.

"Our aim was to establish a stable process that delivers consistent results regardless of geometry or series size," says Marc-Manuel Peter, Operations Manager at Hernee. Extensive test series enabled the precise setting of defined roughness values - a decisive factor for the function and service life of titanium-based components.
Continuous control and high flexibility
A roughness measurement system monitors compliance with the specifications in real time. This ensures consistent results and high repeat accuracy. Titanium blasting can also be flexibly adapted to different requirements - from selective processing of individual zones to full-surface treatment of complex workpieces.
