Dr. Christian Noß joined the team at the office of the German Industrial Association for Hygiene and Surface Protection (IHO) in January 2026. In his role as Science and Technology Officer, he is responsible for the association's scientific and technical issues.
Extensive experience as a doctor of chemistry
Dr. Noß studied chemistry at Justus Liebig University in Giessen. As part of his doctoral studies, he worked on the development of a novel method for the catalytic production of benzaldehyde. His work focused on the use of copper(I) complexes in combination with a photocatalyst.
In his new position, Dr. Noß contributes his expertise to the association's work and supports the processing of technical and scientific topics within the IHO. In addition to his professional activities, Dr. Noß volunteers with the volunteer fire department in his hometown.
