Zeller+Gmelin has expanded its product portfolio of lubricants for environmentally sensitive areas to include a water-based saw chain fluid. The fluid, called Divinol AquaChainFluid, is particularly suitable for battery, motor and electric saws. It contains corrosion protection for the guidebar and chain, is stable over the long term and does not cause any gumming.
In addition, the product is characterized by a lower odor development and a high wear protection for chain, guidebar and deflection star. Another plus is that, because it is water-soluble, the cutting set and saw can be easily cleaned with water and a sponge after work is completed. Changing from standard chain lubricants to the new saw chain fluid is simple: The chain oil tank is emptied and can be filled with the saw chain fluid at the next filling without prior cleaning.
