As with the DS-2 series, the DT series refrigeration dryers incorporate an "all-in-one" aluminum heat exchanger that is passed through in a countercurrent process and contains an air-to-air heat exchanger, evaporator and condensate separator. Both series are equipped with the climate-friendly refrigerant R 513 A, which has a low greenhouse gas potential. This means that the models meet all the requirements of the F-Gas Regulation EU 517/2014. The refrigeration circuit is hermetically sealed, which eliminates the need for leak testing by certified refrigeration engineers.
The hot gas/bypass valve included in all models keeps the pressure dew point stable at 3 °C, even under changing ambient conditions. The refrigeration dryer condensers are generously sized for reliable operation, even with compressed air at 70 °C inlet temperature. The large fan is mounted directly on the condenser and ensures maximum cooling air flow, which has a positive effect on the pressure dew point. The refrigeration dryer is extremely robust and can function even in demanding ambient conditions.
