Cold Jet, a provider of dry ice cleaning and production solutions, announces the launch of the Aero2 Ultra series. The new units are equipped with powerful motors, gearboxes and controls. The components are moisture-resistant and the motors are cold-resistant. Metal gearboxes improve durability, reliability and efficiency, while direct-drive blade motors increase performance. Machine stability has also been upgraded with all-new proprietary controls and motor drivers.
Ease of use and connectivity
If an error occurs during operation of the equipment, a QR code is displayed. The operator can scan this to obtain immediately usable information. This shortens the service time. The Aero2 Ultra series features a new external panel with a microSD card reader and an Ethernet port. This new design ensures seamless integration with Cold Jet Connect for remote recipe management and analysis.
Overall machine performance
In addition to the core upgrades, Aero2 Ultra offers a number of improvements that enhance overall machine performance and ease of use. These include a redesigned internal layout with consolidated pneumatic components for easier maintenance, color-coded hoses for clear identification, and more durable blast hoses and applicators. The new protection system protects the core elements of the machine in extremely dusty environments and helps to minimize routine maintenance. The new patent-pending defrost cycle allows operators to clear blockages quickly and easily.
Two models available
- The PCS Ultra is ideal for situations that require both precision and versatility. With its Cold Jet Particle Control System (PCS), operators can precisely control the size of dry ice particles (from 0.3 mm to 3 mm) and blasting parameters for optimal cleaning in a variety of applications.
- The PLT Ultra is a dry ice blasting machine for high performance cleaning. The 3 mm pellets provide a higher blasting pressure. This machine has a "straight" air system for higher blasting performance and can blast at a pressure of up to 17.2 bar (250 PSI) and a flow rate of up to 2.7 kg/min (6 lb/min)
