Marcus Preußner, Managing Director of WB Coatings, is certain that he has made the right decision in handing over the business to the Mipa Group. "The sale of Warnecke & Böhm GmbH to MIPA SE is a strategically important step in aligning the WB Coatings brand for the future. The long-standing, very successful cooperation with MIPA will also ensure a smooth transition."
Warnecke & Böhm's product range and customer relations will be organized primarily through Feycolor GmbH in Regensburg, which belongs to the Mipa Group. However, the products will be manufactured in cooperation between the various Mipa production sites, depending on the product range. The 40 employees of WB Coatings will be offered jobs at Mipa Group sites. The common goal of Warnecke & Böhm and MIPA is to keep the negative impact on the staff at the Schliersee site as low as possible. Preparations for the takeover at the end of the year are already underway and will be implemented step by step.
