Metabo launches a series of mains-powered 2000 watt Brushless angle grinders for heavy-duty metalworking. The devices have a service life that is three times longer than those with carbon brushes. With the WEBA 20-125 Quick BL, WEVBA 20-125 Quick BL, WEPBA 20-125 Quick DS BL and WEPBA 20-150 Quick DS BL, Metabo offers four different models with different speeds, features and disc sizes
Cost-effectiveness and quick amortization
The Metabo developers have equipped the encapsulated Marathon brushless motor with a patented cooling system and effective dust protection. For the industrial user, this means low maintenance and servicing costs and high reliability in daily use. The new angle grinders are also powerful and economical. Work progress can be increased by up to 60 percent with the robust, constantly available motor power. At the same time, power consumption is 20 percent lower than when using comparable motors with carbon brushes. According to the manufacturer, a single angle grinder can save several hundred euros in energy costs over its lifetime.
Fast and safe working
The new brushless angle grinders from Metabo have various protective functions such as anti-kickback technology and the fast disc stop, which stops the cutting or roughing disc in two seconds.
