Mankiewicz will be presenting an advanced single-coat solution for industrial applications at PaintExpo 2026. The coating system combines corrosion protection and surface requirements in a single process step.

Mankiewicz introduces a new generation of the Alexit High Build Monolayer single-coat system. The direct-to-metal coating system is designed to replace multi-stage coating structures and reduce the process effort in industrial production.

In many applications, classic multi-layer systems lead to additional work steps, increased material usage, and further drying phases. Mankiewicz's single-layer approach combines corrosion protection and defined surface requirements of OEMs in a single coating step. According to the company, this shortens throughput times and reduces material and energy consumption.

Process simplification and reproducible results

The coating system has a high solids content and low VOC values. An optimized drying process supports stable process control in series production. The goal is to achieve consistent coating results even with high volumes and to reduce process complexity.

The single-layer system is based on a modular design and can be adapted to different substrates, component geometries, and process conditions. In addition, the system can be integrated into existing production environments with minimal adaptation effort.

Significance for industrial coating processes

Against the backdrop of the ongoing shortage of skilled workers in the coating industry, robust and reliable systems are becoming increasingly important. Simplified process chains can help to reduce dependence on manual intervention and increase reproducibility in production. Mankiewicz will present the single-layer system at PaintExpo 2026 in Hall 1, Booth 1319.
