Ampco Pumps has been part of the Krones family since the beginning of 2023. Ampco Pumps, based in Wisconsin, USA, is a US pump manufacturer that has been supplying primarily the food and beverage industry for almost 75 years.
Centrifugal pumps and positive displacement pumps from a single source
The acquisition of Ampco Pumps was an important step for Krones in the further expansion of its component business in process technology. With the pumps from Ampco and the pump and valve technology from Krones' subsidiary Evoguard, Krones now has a broad portfolio of all the important components for the process technology market - and is able to offer the complete range of centrifugal pumps and positive displacement pumps in a wide variety of designs from a single source.
New sales structure
In recent months, the existing sales teams of both companies have been reorganized so that customers have a contact person for the entire Evoguard and Ampco product portfolio in their vicinity.
