DGNB certification from the German Sustainable Building Council is an increasingly important quality feature for sustainable construction projects. Jordan Lacke now meets the requirements.

The German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB) has established itself as the leading certification system for sustainable building in Germany, which assesses individual products and entire buildings. The criteria are designed to take into account the entire life cycle of a building. DGNB certification is awarded at bronze, silver, gold and platinum levels. An important prerequisite for platinum building certification is the ecological quality of the building materials. An overall performance of 80% is required for the entire building, and all products used must be recorded and evaluated.

Water-based coatings from Jordan meet the requirements

The specially developed 1K and 2K water-based coatings from Jordan meet these requirements. If a surface is coated in the factory, processors will no longer need to worry about whether the highest DGNB quality level 4 and thus the specifications for the building project have been achieved. All Jordan waterborne coatings fall well below the VOC limits required here.
