The drum pump manufacturer Jessberger offers filling systems made of stainless steel to enable convenient and easy dosing from 200 liter drums or IBC containers into smaller containers. The frame of the filling system, the weighing platform and the evaluation unit are made of V2A. All components that come into contact with the medium, such as the filling tube or the sensors, are made of V4A. The control box, the weighing platform and the signal conditioning instrument are protected against the ingress of moisture and water due to the IP65 protection class. The total weight of the equipment is 45 kilograms. The filling system can be used to accurately dose a wide range of media, but currently it is not permitted to fill flammable liquids whose flash point is below 55 °C or which are not resistant to the V4A stainless steel. Including the barrel pump, such a filling unit with pneumatic filling lance costs about 8,500 euros.
