Hobart made a commitment to protecting the environment and using resources and energy sparingly in all corporate activities more than 20 years ago and has been producing an annual sustainability report since 2017. "We have initiated a variety of actions to make the topic of sustainability even more present among employees and within the company," says Manfred Kohler, Hobart Managing Director Sales & Production.
These include, for example, the lending platform for electrical appliances set up by the trainees and an idea exchange for sustainable actions. In addition, employees can have the purchase price for the 49-euro ticket for September or October reimbursed. Another idea is the "single-cup washer" that will be set up in the plant at the start of the campaign days. The almost 700 employees can use it to wash their coffee cups individually in a particularly energy-efficient and hygienic way.
