Hesse Lignal is now labeling all products on its website with a sustainability score. This makes it easier to make environmentally conscious decisions in surface coating.

The surface specialist Hesse Lignal has introduced a new evaluation system for the sustainability of its products. All lacquers, stains and coating systems are now shown with a sustainability score on the company website. This makes the proportion of sustainable ingredients and resource-saving formulations visible.

Quick comparison possible

The score is displayed as a percentage value in the product overview, enabling a quick comparison between different products. The aim is to provide users in trade, industry and commerce with a basis for environmentally conscious purchasing decisions.

Detailed insights into raw material composition

The sustainability score is broken down into its components on the product detail pages. Among other things, the assessment takes into account the proportion of renewable, fossil, recycled and mineral raw materials as well as other ecological criteria. This makes it possible to understand how resource-friendly the composition of a product is and what alternatives are available.
