This year, the German Design Council honored RAL's collection of materials with the German Design Award in the "Material and Surfaces" category. The RAL Trendbox 2025+ translates RAL's 15-part trend color palette into a total of five design-relevant materials. In addition to the standardized RAL individual color samples, the box also contains plastic color samples, powder-coated metal, carpet samples and textile samples.

The prize is one of the most prestigious design awards in Germany and internationally. Among other things, the jury's statement said: 'The RAL Trendbox 2025+ impresses with its careful selection of colors and variety of materials.
A tool for designers
