Exceeding GM's requirements, providing innovative technologies and maintaining high quality standards - these are the criteria set by General Motors for the "Supplier of the Year" award. The awards were presented during GM's recent supplier event in Miami, Florida, USA. BASF received the Supplier of the Year award not only for the past year, but also for the 17th time. The award recognizes the company's efforts to provide GM with high quality products and outstanding service.
Surface treatments, coatings and clear coats for GM
"BASF is highly regarded for GM's cultural priorities and business performance," said Uta Holzenkamp, President of BASF's Coatings division. BASF's Coatings division supplies GM with surface treatments to protect against corrosion as well as colored topcoats and glossy clearcoats. A total of 86 suppliers were honored at the event. Uta Holzenkamp thanks the BASF team for their hard work and support of GM.
