To mark its 100th anniversary, FreiLacke is focusing on its system coating concept: powder, liquid, and electrocoating paints as well as composite solutions are technologically coordinated. The aim is to achieve a uniform appearance across different locations with optimized processes, reduced emissions, and high cost-effectiveness.
With EcoOne, the company is presenting a 2K-ETL system without solvents and neutralizing agents that require VOC labeling. Thanks to a baking temperature that is around 30 °C lower, significant energy savings can be achieved.
Powder coatings: low temperature, PFAS-free, and functional
In the field of powder coatings, FreiLacke is presenting advanced, energy-efficient solutions – including low-temperature systems with baking conditions of 140 °C for 10 minutes. New collections such as "The Art of Matte" and the "Buildings Collection" address design and architectural applications. PFAS-free powder and liquid coatings complement the portfolio and meet increasing regulatory requirements while offering high chemical and mechanical resistance.
For composite components, the PIMC process offers the possibility of combining coating and pressing in a single step – including fire retardancy in accordance with EN 45545 (HL3, R1).
Water-based coatings, UHS systems, and composite technology
Water-based WL, WO, WU, and WE systems reduce VOC emissions while delivering high performance. In addition, FreiLacke has brought ultra-high-solid coatings with up to 80% solids content and less than 350 g/l VOC to series production. In the composite sector, the company is expanding its portfolio with CM powder technology and styrene-reduced gelcoats with improved weather resistance.
